A Long Week-End

Praise the Lord for national holidays. I needed a day off. Lori had a friend of ours come and stay the weekend with us. Heather Roark from Morristown. She stayed Saturday, Sunday, and most of Monday with us. we had a cookout at home and all of our family came over and had great time. Another couple and thier two kids from church came over as well. I worked like a dog to get everything ready before people got there yesterday. I had to change clothes three time because I had sweat through two sets of clothes, and got poison ivy all over one set. All in all we had a great day. My sister (Valarie) came over after work and played with Ashlyn and got her to laugh again. It was so cool to here her laugh. She hasn't really laughed since her Mamaw got her to about three weeks ago. Well, that's about it for now. Until next time.

Lori called me yesterday and said she had something I needed to hear.
She put the phone down and I heard it. It was Ashlyn laughing OUT LOUD! It was awesome, her Mamaw (Cindy) came over for lunch and had her laughing so hard. I cried, I'll admit it. You know what, I watched the video when I got home and yep, I cried again. But it was awesome.

These are two freinds of mine in Dahlonega, Ga. The girl's name is Ashlyn (We named our baby girl after her) and then there's JEB. These two are absolute nuts. We got to spend some time with the Biddy family and I also had the privelidge to preach for Bro. Mark Biddy one Sunday night.

Here's Me and Ashlyn It was Bright and Windy that day. We were so tired once we got to Palatka we didn't feel like going to the beach so we spent some time at the river.

Hi

Well... I'm back. we got back from vacation last Monday morning @ 2:20 a.m. Over 1700 miles and God showed Himself to be faithfull once again. I have pictures of my hometown(Palatka, Fl) and and the baby there, and in Americus, Ga, and in Dahlonega, Ga. I want to post those pictures but I'm still recovering from driving so much, I'm tired of sitting. I wish I could stand and type. Maybe tonight I can post a few.
